What are tektites?
Tektites are natural glass objects primarily composed of silica. They are formed when a large asteroid or comet impacts Earth. The energy melts terrestrial rock and ejects it into the upper atmosphere, where it cools into glass before landing.
The impactor comes from space. The glass comes from Earth. That distinction is the whole story — and it is why genuine Moldavite is unlike anything else you can hold.

It’s really just me. My name’s Nathan.
I didn’t start this to build a polished business. I found Moldavite when I was 21, and it changed how I looked at life.
I don’t like seeing Moldavite treated as a trend, with fake urgency, inflated prices or big claims that pressure people to buy before they’re ready.
I choose pieces as I’d choose them for myself. If I look at a stone and think I’d love that, it feels right to offer it. I keep my margins as low as I reasonably can.
I want you to see the exact piece, know its real weight and get an honest description. I’ll be here if you need me, but I’m not here to push or convince you.

Real vs fake Moldavite
Learn what genuine Moldavite looks like and the signs that help separate it from common imitations.
What are tektites?
Tektites are natural glass formed when a meteorite impact melts rock and sends it high into the atmosphere. They cool on the journey back to Earth; their shapes and textures reflect that remarkable origin.
Moldavite vs tektites

Both are natural impact glasses, but Moldavite comes from the Ries impact in Central Europe, while tektites occur in several strewn fields worldwide. Compare their origin, texture and form before choosing.

Choosing your first piece

Choosing your first Moldavite piece should feel personal. Consider the stone’s shape, size and setting, then use the individual photographs to choose a piece you’ll love wearing.

Impact glass origins
Impact glass forms when a meteorite strike melts local rock and sand. The heat and rapid cooling create distinctive natural glass; Libyan Desert Glass is a well-known example.
