Libyan Desert Glass is one of the most powerful impactites I work with. Found only in the Great Sand Sea of western Egypt and eastern Libya, it was formed around 28.5 million years ago when the heat of a meteor impact fused desert sand into natural golden glass.
It is not a tektite but a pure desert-born impact glass, extremely high in silica. Colours range from soft lemon to deep honey, with natural textures carved by desert winds over millions of years. Each piece of authentic Libyan Desert Glass is unique,  a direct fragment of ancient Earth history fused with the energy of impact.
I experience Libyan Desert Glass strongest in the solar plexus chakra. It is known as a stone of empowerment, clarity and manifestation, helping align personal power with focused intention.
